Cylinder

Cylinder - a three-dimensional "boxlike" shape whose base (bottom surface) is a circle, the vertical "wraparound" surface is perpendicular to it, and the top surface is identical to the bottom surface

Surface Area = 2R2 + 2RH

Volume = (Area of bottom surface) (height)

= R2H

Note: The cylinder is quite similar to prisms, and its formulas for surface area and volume are similar to the corresponding formulas for prisms!
