Sphere

Sphere - a set of points, in 3-dimensional space, equidistant from a fixed point (center)

Sphere

R = the length of the radius of the sphere

C = the center point of the circle

Surface Area = 4 pi R2

Volume = 4/3 pi R3

Note: Points of the sphere are only points of its surface. The center is not considered a point of the sphere, nor are other points inside the sphere.

In problems, the decimal approximation of pi may vary. Sometimes, you may be asked to use 3.1, or 3.14, or 3.141, etc., for pi, or else you may simply be asked to give answers in terms of pi.

Example: 25 would be the area of a circle whose radius is 5.
